From Presentation to Publication

Disrupting Boundaries is designed not only as a venue for presenting research, but as a pathway toward meaningful publication outcomes. All accepted papers that meet the required formatting and quality standards will be published in the official conference proceedings with a DOI — ensuring every presenter leaves with a citable, permanent record of their contribution. Beyond the proceedings, authors who submit a strengthened full paper following their conference presentation may be considered for additional publication tracks, at the discretion of the editorial and scientific committee:

Peer-Reviewed Journal (Regular)

Papers demonstrating strong quality and relevance to the conference themes may be recommended for standard peer review and publication in a partner journal.

Special Issue (Scopus / Web of Science)

A limited number of outstanding, thematically aligned papers may be invited to a themed special issue in a Scopus- or Web of Science–indexed journal — a competitive track reserved for submissions that make a distinctive contribution to their field.

Regular Issue (Scopus / Web of Science)

Papers of exceptional quality may also be recommended directly to a journal's regular, non-themed issue within the same indexing tier — the most selective of the available pathways.

What This Means for You

Because full paper submission takes place after the conference (see Important Dates), presenters have the opportunity to refine their arguments based on feedback received during Q&A and discussion sessions — strengthening their manuscript before it enters any of the tracks above. Placement into a specific track is not guaranteed and depends on each journal's independent peer-review process; any applicable article processing charges will be communicated transparently at the point of invitation, with no obligation until the author chooses to proceed.

Questions?

If you have not received your full paper submission instructions within two weeks of the conference's conclusion, or if you have any questions in the meantime, please contact conferences@scivanta.org.
